Mission Statement

South Wagga is a Public School where:

• all students will acquire skills, concepts and knowledge in each Key Learning and Enhancement Area and will develop independent work habits, all reflecting their abilities.
• self discipline, respect for others and the responsibilities of citizenship will be developed through class and school programs.
• tolerance and respect for individual and cultural diversity within the school and wider community, will be fostered through class and school programs.
• students will be encouraged to value the lifelong nature of learning and to understand the impact that change has on people.
• the individual capacities of children with special needs will be developed through available resources, appropriate indentification, monitoring and evaluation.
• a management structure that is inclusive, responsible, and that encourages well developed educational practices will be created and supported.
• each member of staff will be fostered through professional development, including formal and informal supervision, so that the quality of programs offered is optimised.
• technological resources will be used to enhance teaching and learning programs and administrative processes within the school.
